I’ve never seen such a cool butter spreader. It makes a butter really soft so I take the butter out of the fridge and use it immediately. On the other hand, It’s a little hard to wash.

This butter spreader makes a nice soft and curly thread of butter without applying much force! For the best result, I recommend placing butter on a butter plate and out of a refrigerator for 10-15 mins. I always had an issue spreading a consistent amount of butter throughout the surface, so this was a great purchase!

I must say, I have bought something similar on eBay for few bucks in the past, but it did not work well as this knife. The key is its curved, ergonomic design blade which concentrates the friction only on the surface of butter so that you can shave the butter with less force applied. One thing I should point out is that you should apply butter on bread (preferably nice and toasted) softly without applying too much force. It defies the whole purpose if you smoosh the threaded butter!

The shaving part is great and the angle of the knife is just right making it easy to spread. The shaving goes so smooth it’s actually fun. I'll try it for grating cheese next time.

It’s fabulous! This is the best butter knife I’ve ever used. Time Saver - I no longer need to leave butter to soften in room temperature before each meal. And it’s fun to use. Worth every penny. Would recommend to anyone.

This helps me to use smaller amount of butter on my hot toast, so i feel less guilty and it helps with my diet. I always keep my butter in the fridge, so it is helpful that I can spread it right after I took the butter out of the fridge. I also used this to shave chocolate on my ice cream. It works very well.
