Arimatsu tie-dye shibori is a traditionl technique used in Arimatsu, Japan for over 400 years. Arimatsu is known to be one of Japan's top crafts. The traditional "Arimatsu Shibori" technique is a long and detailed process done by hand with highly skilled craftsmen. Do to this process, all patterns are unique and one-of-a-kind. About 69 inches long and 10 inches wide. It is made with a thin plain weave fabric that is slightly transparent. It has a soft touch due to the fine wrinkles created during tie-dyeing.
